BIRJAND, 11 November 2019 (IRCS) – Red Crescent offered relief services to Pakistani nationals in a collision in eastern Iran which killed 4 people onboard a bus and a lorry.

4 Killed in South Khorasan Collision

The collision occurred in Nehbandan-Zahedan Artery in South Khorasan Province at nearly 4:00 a.m. local time on November 11 when a bus carrying 49 Pakistani pilgrims crashed into a lorry.

The incident left 4 dead and injured 46 passengers. The casualties are reportedly 2 people from the bus, including the driver and a woman and 2 from the lorry, including the driver and another person onboard the lorry.

Four critically injured people were dispatched to medical centers by the Red Crescent ambulance and the others by the EMS ambulances. The Red Crescent relief workers also recovered 3 injured who were trapped into the two vehicles. Other passengers received outpatient services on the spot.
