Relief and Rescue Organisation of the Iranian Red Crescent Society reported that the four counties of Iranshahr, Degan, Sibo-Souran and Fenouj in Sistan and Balouchestan province have been affected by floods and flooding, and announced that 448 people from this cities in the province have received relief supplies so far.
Relief and Rescue Organisation reported that its efforts have been started in Sistan and Balouchestan province since July 13, Red Crescent rescuers have provided flood affected people with the necessary relief and rescue supplies in six cities and villages and 92 people have received emergency sheltering services.
Four people were rescued by Red Crescent rescuers from floods and 21 vehicles have been recovered from the flood water, based on the report of Red Crescent Relief and Rescue Organisation. 17 operational teams, including 133 rescuers and relief workers also provided the necessary humanitarian services to the flood-stricken people in Sistan and Balouchestan.
According to the reports from Relief and Rescue Organisation, 19 family tents, 200 blankets, 130 ground sheets, 185 kilograms of plastic nylons and 440 tins of canned food have been distributed amongst the beneficiaries so far. Relief and rescue operations of the Iranian Red Crescent are still continuing in the affected sites.
