Kerman, Mar. 8 (IRCS) _ A 5.4 magnitude quake struck Kahnuj county in southeastern province of Kerman at 6:16 p.m. local time on Wednesday night, Mar. 7th leaving 6 injured.
Following the quake, Kerman Red Crescent branch immediately deployed 3 assessment teams to the affected areas.
“The quake left 6 injured, 5 people received outpatient treatment, and one was transported to hospital.” said Reza Fallah, Managing Director of Kerman Red Crescent branch.
Also, the quake cracked the walls, broke the glasses of some buildings and fell the plaster walls.
Red Crescent relief workers in southern counties of Kerman province are on standby for any unpredicted emergencies.
