TEHRAN, Mar. 12 _ (IRCS) _ Red Crescent relief workers found the bodies of 10 people onboard a Turkish private jet that crashed in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, southwestern Iran, in a mountainous region on sunday killing all the passengers and crew.
Eleven people were aboard the plane traveling from Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates to Istanbul. Some of the bodies are fully burned.
Morteza Salimi, Head of the Iranian Red Crescent Relief and Rescue Organization, said: "8 IRCS teams were immediately dispatched to the crash area. Relief workers walked 4 hours on foot to reach the spot of the plane crash due to bad weather and severe snowstorm."
"Currently, search operation is being conducted for finding the last body," he added.
A Red Crescent chopper is ready in the area for transporting the bodies.
