IRCS sympathizes with Indonesia

TEHRAN/JAKARTA, 16 January 2020 (IRCS) - Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) voiced its sympathy to the Indonesian Red Cross after a 6.2 magnitude earthquake hit Sulawesi Island.
IRCS’ Twitter account wrote:

The humanitarian services by dedicated staff and volunteers on the ground assisting people in need is truly admired while fighting against #Covid19 harsh situation.

Furthermore, Ms Mansooreh Bagheri, IRCS Under Secretary General of International Affairs and IHL sent a condolence message to Mr. Sunarbowo Sandi, Deputy Secretary General of Indonesian Red Cross and commiserated with the families who lost their dear ones.
A 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck the western coast of Sulawesi Island in Indonesia early Friday, January 15, killing at least 46 people, destroying houses, flattening a hospital and setting off landslides, disaster officials said.
