Iranian Red Crescent to set up RDH in Lebanon

TEHRAN/ Beirut, 05 August 2020 (IRCS) - Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) plans to set up Rapid Deployment Hospital (RDH) in Lebanon to render emergency medical services to injured people due to Beirut explosion.

The Society will also send 2,000 food parcels and 95 tons of food items as well as medicine and medical equipment to Lebanon. Furthermore, a medical team will be dispatched to Lebanon.

Karim Hemmati, IRCS President, had a phone conversation with the Lebanon Red Cross secretary general on Wednesday saying the Iranian Red Crescent was ready to help injured people in the Beirut explosion which killed dozens and inured hundreds of people.
