More than 1,000 patients seen at IRCS Field Hospital in Beirut + VIDEO
Since August 8 when the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) set up a Rapid Deployment Hospital (RDH) in Lebanese capital Beirut, 1,200 injured people in the port's huge blast have referred to the hospital.
On Thursday, August 13, more than 200 wounded in the explosion were seen in the IRCS makeshift hospital.
So far, the Iranian Red Crescent's surgeon team has conducted five surgeries, including nerve grafting, tumour removal and orthopaedic on patients.
Women, kids and elderly people are among the most patients who have referred to the IRCS hospital.
