China, Pakistan Offer Relief Aids to Flood-Affected People

TEHRAN, 14 May 2019 (IRCS) – The Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has received the third consignment of Chinese government as well as cash contribution from the people of Pishawar, Pakistan, for Iran’s flood-hit families.

The Chinese government’s consignment includes 400 tents, 300 sewage pumps, 60 loudspeakers and 20 generators. The consignment arrived in Tehran’s Imam Khomeini international airport on Monday morning, 13 May.

China sent two consignments earlier, which included tents.

Also, the Iranian Consul General in Peshawar, Pakistan, and the region’s people donated a cash contribution of RIs 1,320 billion (nearly 31,420 US dollars) to the Iranian Red Crescent to support flood-affected people.
