The following is the full text of Prof. Peyvandi’s message:
“On behalf of staff and volunteers of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS), I would like to mark the birth anniversary of Henry Dunant, founder of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and take a moment to celebrate the bravery and achievements of all Red Cross and Red Crescent volunteers and staff, whose life-saving and life-changing services ensure that we keep our commitments to serve for humanity.
The Iranian Red Crescent Society is privileged to serve humanity together with you for continuous support and express warmest greetings to all members and volunteers of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement on the occasion of the World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day.
I hope we can continuously work more together in a humanitarian atmosphere for the benefit of the needy people and we can best render all the great work of our Movement and most importantly the services our volunteers delivered to the most vulnerable and those in need.
I look forward in cooperating closely and strengthening the collaboration between two institutions in our common humanitarian path.
With my kindest regards, I remain.”
