These bases were launched on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution and in the presence of Prof. Ali Asghar Peyvandi, IRCS President.

 Today, in the farthest point from the capital, we inaugurated a relief base: IRCS President

 Iranian Red Crescent opened one relief base in Abu Musa Island, Hormozgan Province, in an area of 300 square meters.

After the opening ceremony, IRCS President wrote in a Twitter message: “Today, in the farthest point from the capital, we inaugurated a relief base.”

Furthermore, an educational center for relief and rescue was launched in Bushehr Province.

The center comprises various parts including an EOC (Emergency Operations Center), residence for rapid response team, residence for sniffer dogs, Relief Voice (112), etc.

Helipad and hangar will also be added to the center in the future.

Moreover, a relief warehouse opened in Khormoj City of Bushehr.

In Fars Province, a rescue vehicle (type-2) was offered to the Red Crescent provincial branch in the presence of the Prof. Peyvandi.
