The center aims to educate skilled forces in the field of relief and rescue for organizations, and it was established in an area of 2,5 hectares.

The center enjoys applied-sciences Division, practical workshops for relief and rescue, a training structure for rescue in high altitudes, etc.

Kerman’s Specialized Relief and Rescue Training Center enjoys several wards such as applied-sciences Division, practical workshops for relief and rescue, a training structure for rescue in high altitudes, a training structure for accident rescue, a training structure for carrying the injured, a training structure for debris rescue, a multipurpose recreation and sports complex, and a cinema for Red Crescent volunteers and youth.

IRCS President Prof. Ali Asghar Peyvandi travelled to Kerman to launch the center on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran. He also unveiled three rescue vehicles.

In addition, in the presence of the IRCS President in Kerman, Red Crescent Health Caravans began their humanitarian activities in the country’s remote villages.
