ISFAHAN, 17 July 2019 (IRCS) – Red Crescent transferred nine injured passengers in a minibus which fell into a valley in Isfahan Province, central Iran, to medical centers.

IRCS Responds to Minibus Crash in Valley

At 9:50 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, a minibus carrying 22 passengers took a detour in Tidjan-Khansar artery in Isfahan Province but fell into a valley as its breaks stopped working, killing 13 (10 women, 3 children) and injuring 9 (8 women and the driver).

Following the incident, Red Crescent dispatched operational teams to the spot. Red Crescent transferred three injured passengers by the Society’s chopper. Six injured others were also transported to medical centres by the Red Crescent ambulance
