2,000 persons trapped in the Country Mountainous Regions rescued by IRCS Relief Workers
Based on the report from the IRCS Relief and Rescue Organization, 633 relief and Rescue operations carried out in the mountainous regions throughout the country, and the provinces of Tehran, Fars and Mazandaran received the most services
 Since the beginning of the new Iranian Year, 1958 mountaineers were trapped in mountainous areas and based on the emergency calls received; the IRCS Mountainous Relief teams rescued 475 of them. The IRCS Relief and Rescue Organization rendered its services to 66 cases in Tehran, 56 cases in Fars as well as 54 cases in Mazandaran provinces.
Among the saved, 312 persons were transferred to the clinics and hospitals to receive secondary hospital treatment and 163 persons treated out patiently.
Other 1427 mountaineers evacuated from the mountain to the safe places by the support of the IRCS Mountainous Relief teams.
According to the plans of the IRCS Relief and Rescue Organization, in case of the emergency calls, the special trained relief teams provide the related relief services in favour of the vulnerable from frostbiting, downfall, hypothermia, and thunderbolt. Also searching for the trapped people on the mountainous routes is being done by these teams.
