IFRC MENA Regional Director sends condolence message to Iranian Red Crescent
BEIRUT/TEHRAN, 04 October 2020 (IRCS) - Hossam Elsharkawi, Regional Director of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) for Middle East and North Africa (MENA), has sent a message of condolences to the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) president following the death of Dr Kamran Khodayi, Deputy of Education and Research of the Lorestan provincial Red Crescent branch.
The full message of Dr, Hossam Elsharkawi to Dr, Karim Hemmati, IRCS President, reads as follows:
Dear Dr Hemmati,
On behalf of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in MENA, I would like to present my deep condolences on the loss of Dr Kamran Khodayi, Deputy of Education and Research of the Lorestan provincial Red Crescent branch.
We are saddened by this news, and whole IFRC team in MENA extends its support to his family, friends, and to the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Mr, Khodayi died from corona in a hospital on September 24 while he was diagnosed with the coronavirus after his efforts to serve the people of deprived regions of the province.
