IFRC Representative to introduce IRCS activities to other Societies
TEHRAN, 1 June 2021 (IRCS) – Iranian Red Crescent notable activities is not done in other national Societies, said IFRC Programme Coordination and Cooperation Manager for Iran.
Referring to his visit to some branches of the Iranian Red Crescent and the Red Crescent Houses, Atta Durrani said that "the Society had different divisions but what was interesting was the good and strong connection between the different parts of this organization to provide appropriate and effective services to the people."
“Special and significant activities are being carried out by the Iranian Red Crescent that are not taken in other National Societies," he added in the closing ceremonies of festivals of the "Second Step of the Revolution", "Ehsan in Corona" and "Top Student Clubs in Medical Universities" which were held by the IRCS Youth Organization virtually on Tuesday.

Mr Durrani said that "the activities of Ghonchehay-e Helal club (a club for kids aged 7-5) in the IRCS Youth Organization and educating humanitarian activities from childhood is an interesting topic that has not been addressed in other National Societies."
IFRC Programme Coordination and Cooperation Manager for Iran also added that "he was going to brief International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and other National Societies about the Iranian Red Crescent’s services and activities which are not known abroad."
