IRCS, Nursing Organization Expand Cooperation
TEHRAN, Jun. 26 (IRCS) _ Presidents of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) and Iran's Nursing Organization emphasized expansion of cooperation on mutual objectives such as offering relief to people and reverence for human beings.
TEHRAN, Jun. 26 (IRCS) _ Presidents of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) and Iran?s Nursing Organization emphasized expansion of cooperation on mutual objectives such as offering relief to people and reverence for human beings.
At a meeting that was held on Monday, June 26 in IRCS headquarters, Prof. Ali Asghar Peyvandi, President of the IRCS said: “The main goals of Red Crescent are directly linked with the Nursing Organization and we will do any assistance to strengthen the cooperation.”

“On the other hand, we ask you to help us in addressing health system problems,” he added.
Referring to Red Crescent mandate in the field of education, Peyvandi noted: “We believed the easiest and the lease expensive way to protect people is public education, so we could organize a mutual committee to expand future cooperation.”
Also in his speeches, Dr. Dalvandi, President of Iran’s Nursing Organization said: “Education is the most important aspect of cooperation with Red Crescent.”
Referring to cooperation areas in youth, volunteers, health, treatment and rehabilitation fields, he said: “Educations of haj pilgrims, Arbaeen pilgrims, self-care and education of volunteers are samples of mutual cooperation.”

Dalvandi added Nursing Organization can also cooperate with Red Crescent in the field of road accidents, and is ready to cooperate with the Society in production of medical disposable and non-disposable devices and rehabilitation materials.
President of the Iran’s Nursing Organization proposed for signing of a mutual MOU and to use IRCS spaces to hold educational courses.
