Red Crescent provincial branch in North Khorasan opened its new Operations Logistics Base on Sunday, 30 August 2015. Hassan Shakoori Nasab, Managing Director of Red Crescent branch in North Khorasan, Norouzian, deputy governor-general of North Khorasan province and a number of top officials from the province attended Red Crescent opening ceremony.   Shakoori Nasab said Iranian Red Crescent provincial branch in the province established its new Operations Logistics Base in an area of 5 hectares, including helicopter hangar with an area of 1,873 square metres and a helicopter landing pad (helipad) with 6,600 square metres and a sniffing dogs unit in an area of 350 square metres to provide further and better services for the needy people.   "Red Crescent relief warehouses, cold storage, search and rescue emergency operations command centre, parking lot, light and heavy machinery workshop would soon be implemented in the completion of this project," he also added during the opening ceremony.
