For this purpose, IRCS President wrote the following letter to OIC Red Network:

OIC Red Network,

Further to your email dated 11 May 2021 regarding the OIC Red Network Statement on recent violence and violations in and around Al-Quds, I would like to reiterate that the Iranian Red Crescent society strongly support the statement on condemning what is happening in Palestine and Gaza strip against humanity and kindly ask the OIC Red Network to accelerate the release of the statement at its earliest convenience. Furthermore, considering the scaling up of the tense and severe tough situation in Palestine and urgent needs of the affected civilians to humanitarian assistance, IRCS kindly encourages the OIC Red Network to call the members for a campaign to support Palestinian Red Crescent Society and the appeal lunched by the NS, to meet and facilitate the immediate humanitarian needs for the benefit of affected communities.
