IRCS sends condolence message to Azerbaijan
TEHRAN/BAKU, 2 November 2020 (IRCS) – President of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) Dr Karim Hemmati sent a message of condolence to his Azerbaijani counterpart Dr Novroz Aslanov following death of an Azerbaijani Red Crescent volunteer.
Mr Maharram Anvar Oglu Mustafayev, 49, died on October 28 while providing humanitarian assistance in the town of Barda, Azerbaijan. He was killed when his car was hit by a rocket.
Following this incident, IRCS president sent a message of condolence to Azerbaijan Red Crescent president.

Dear Mr. President,
The Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) presents its compliments to you and all your diligent staff and volunteers of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent.
With great sorrow, we heard the news of the loss of Mr. Maharram Anvar Onglu Mostafayev, a respected volunteer in Azerbaijan Red Crescent who unfortunately lost his while providing humanitarian assistance to the affected people.
In this hard situation, on behalf of the staff and volunteers of the IRCS, I would like to expresses my deepest condolences to you and all your colleagues in Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society especially expressing sympathy with his family.
I wish you and your colleagues all the very best in your humanitarian endeavors.
