Dr. Abolhassan Faghih, President of the Iranian Red Crescent Society inaugurated the infertility Treatment Center in Health and Pharmaceutical Complex of the Iranian Red Crescent Society on Tuesday, 27 August 2013

This center has been established in close cooperation between the Iranian Red Crescent Society and Royan Research Institute and will resume its activities in IRCS Health and Pharmaceutical Complex for rendering the related services to the Iranian impotent couples.

During the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Faghih pointed that infertility is not only the physical problem but also is considered as the psychological disease.

He added that in cooperation with the Royan Research Institute, which is one of the well reputed institutions in Reproductive Biomedicine and treatment; the IRCS can implement its mandate to help the emergency treatment of people alongside the Ministry of Health. In follow, Mr. Hamid Choubineh, Head of the Reproductive Treatment Center of Rouyesh stated that all scientific and specialized activities in infertility field has been carried out in cooperation with Royan Research Institute and the center has the capacity of receiving at least 50 people per day for consultation and each IUI and Microinjection wards are ready to treat 10 persons in daily basis.

Based on the speech of Dr. Masoud Habibi, the head of IRCS Pharmaceutical Complex, the patients can also receive the medical services such as Kidney Dialysis and ophthalmology in the center.

The inauguration of 6 Youth Camps across the country took place and the IRCS Relief and Rescue Centers are being equipped with 36 Road Relief bases, 12 Equipped Warehouses, 100 Ambulances, 50 Rescue Vehicles and life detectors, added Dr. faghih
