Ivory Coast seeks Medical Cooperation with IRCS
YAMOUSSOUKRO, 13 January 2021 (IRCS) – Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) president Dr Karim Hemmati met with Ivory Coast Health Minister Dr Eugène Aka-Aouélé in Abidjan, discussing provision of medicine and medical equipment from Iran to the African country.
During the meeting, Dr Hemmati said that the medicines needed for Ivory Coast will be sent to Côte d'Ivoire but the Iranian Red Crescent needs collaboration of the Ministry of Health in Ivory Coast to provide medical supplies for the country.
Eugène Aka-Aouélé, Health Minister of Ivory Coast appreciated the services of the Iranian Red Crescent’s polyclinic in Abidjan which is very necessary for deprived and needy people in suburban areas.
Iranian Red Crescent president has had a trip to Ivory Coast to visit the Society’s polyclinic in Abidjan. Dr Hemmati met with his counterpart in January 12.
Iranian Red Crescent’s polyclinic was established in Abidjan in 2003 to offer various services to people including gynecology, dentistry, optometry, sonography, general practitioner, laboratory and pharmacy.
