Mali Appreciates IRCS Medical Services

Bamako, 26 September 2021 (IRCS) - Ms. Diéminatou Sangaré, Mali’s ‎Minister of Health and Social Development, appreciated the Health Center of ‎the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) for its services to Malian people over ‎the years.‎

During a meeting held between Mali’s Minister of Health and Iranian ambassador to Mali and head of the IRCS Health Center in Bamako, Ms. Sangaré underlined low-tariff medical services, helping the Mali government in vaccination and rendering pregnancy services to mothers by the IRCS Health Center, expressing optimism that humanitarian activities will be expanded in this center.

During the meeting, Mr Hossein Taleshi Salehani Iranian ambassador to Mali, emphasized that the activities of the IRCS Health Center in Mali were completely humanitarian and it is necessary to provide more activities for this center.

For his part, Dr Mokhtari, Head of the IRCS Health Center in Mali said:“Impossibility of reaching out to insurance companies is a significant difficulty for the center,”

He also asked the Mali Ministry of Health to take appropriate measures to solve the problems of the center.

The Iranian Red Crescent Society’s Health Center was established in Bamako in 1994. Specialties and facilities of the center include General practitioner, dentistry, gynecology, midwifery, ophthalmology, pediatrician, neurologist, dermatologist, internist, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, sonography.
