On the occasion of the World Day of the Red Cross and Red Crescent, Dr. Abolhasan Faghih, President of the Iranian Red Crescent Society expressed that trust of the people and their contribution, the high-ranking authority's satisfaction and the opinion of the international guests confirm we are in the right way   Based on the speech of the president of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, on 8 May of each year, we remember that the Red Cross and Red Crescent is an organization which is full of hope, justice, peace as well as memories of the relief rendering and friendship in the human being life. So, the IRCS Youth, Volunteers and Relief Workers who are the members of the Red Crescent family pride their functions, identities and missions. Within last three years the people satisfaction inside and outside of the country was our priority. We have operated in a range of programs started in local disasters in the remote areas of Bushehr, Khorasan & Azerbaijan provinces to the international disasters in Somalia droughts and Pakistan flood. Looking to the past days, we are observing our correct functions according to the people trust and presence, the authority's satisfaction and the guest's expressions of the other countries. The extension of the peace culture is our onward way. We should always contemplate brotherhood, friendship and make trust of the young members. He also mentioned we need to be effective strongly in all related missions. As a colleague and companion, I am so satisfied to observe your attempts in rendering all services in favor of the needy & affected people in every part of the world and I would like to wish the family of the Iranian Red Crescent Society to be more strong & effective in its path in future.
