TEHRAN, Dec. 30 (IRCS) _ Rescuers of Tehran Provincial Red Crescent branch managed to save a woman climber in Darabad, Tehran.
TEHRAN, Dec. 30 (IRCS) _ Rescuers of Tehran Provincial Red Crescent branch managed to save a woman climber in Darabad, Tehran.
She decided to climb the heights, despite severe weather conditions during late Saturday, December 29.
She got nipped when she reached the vicinities of Piyaz-chall height and called 112 (relief voice) for help.
“A Red Crescent relief helicopter along with 6 rescuers were immediately dispatched to the region to help her after she contacted Red Crescent and received vital guidelines,” said Ibrahim Tajik nouri, Relief and Rescue deputy of the Tehran provincial Red Crescent branch.
The woman was found and dispatched to the Red Crescent Relief and Rescue base at 13:00 p.m.
Red Crescent calls on mountaineers and people to contact IRCS emergency number (112--Relief Voice) if they are at risk of natural or manmade disasters. 112 emergency number can be contacted even without SIM-card.
