Corona Kills Doctor in IRCS Hospital
TEHRAN, 12 May 2020 (IRCS) - An anesthesiologist in Noorafshar Hospital, which is affiliated to the Iranian Red Crescent Society, has died because of Covid-19.
Dr Gholamreza Fakhri, anesthesiologist, lost his life while he was serving the patients with Covid-19, according to Noorafshar Hospital.
Noorafshar Hospital is one of the medical centers in the Iranian capital of Tehran and has been admitting Covid-19 patients since the virus emerged in the country.
According to Babak Deylami, Noorafshar Hospital Treatment Manager, twenty doctors and nurses at Noorafshar Hospital have contracted coronavirus.
A number of them were hospitalized and recovered after a while.
1,773 patients with Covid-19 have referred to Noorafshar Hospital over the past two months.
