IRCS Opens Relief Post in Qom

Qom, 26 July 2020 (IRCS) – Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has inaugurated a relief and rescue base 45 km off Qom city, the central province of Qom.

Dr Karim Hemmati, IRCS President attended the opening ceremony of the post in Qom on July 26.

The post has been built by the financial support of late Ali Irani, a volunteer of the Iranian Res Crescent. This base is also named after the benefactor.

Appreciating Mr. Irani's successors, IRCS president said: “The Qom-Tehran highway is one of the busiest transportation roads in the country, and this good deed (building the relief post) can help a large number of people.”

The post has been built in an area of 3000 square meters.
