During the meeting, which was held at the Iranian Parliament’s Headquarters in Tehran, IRCS Secretary General Dr. Mahmoud Reza Peyravi stated that the National Society was ready to provide health and relief items to Niger, given producing health devices, medicine, tent, blanket, etc. by IRCS-affiliated pharmaceutical and textile companies.
He also said that expanding IRCS health centres in Niger was subject to necessary surveys.
For his part, Niger Parliament’s vice speaker offered sympathy with Iran’s flood-hit people, appreciating Iranian Red Crescent clinic services in the Western African nation, and asked IRCS to expand its health centres in Niger.
