PMER Workshop held at IRCS
TEHRAN, Feb. 6, 2019 (IRCS) _The Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) held the International Training Workshop on Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting (PMER) jointly with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in Tehran on February 5-6.

The workshop was held with the participation of 40 executives from IRCS headquarters and provincial branches. Mrs. Nadine Hadad, Senior PMER Officer in IFRC’s Middle East and North Africa zone (MENA) conducted the workshop.

“The workshop is aimed at advanced learning, strengthened reporting on the results and concepts of disaster management, etc. based on standards and new tools used by the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement in MENA zone,” said Jaber Savabi, deputy of Planning and Specializes Educations of the IRCS Relief and Rescue Organization.
In addition, Project Cycle Management (PCM) and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) were outlined for the participants, and exercises were offered to them on reporting scenario.
