During a virtual meeting, the document was signed by Pir Hossein Kolivand, the President of the Iranian Red Crescent, and Romel Velev, Head of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia in Tehran.
“Signing cooperation documents and such synergies can have positive results, and each other's experiences should be used in the best way,” said IRCS president in the signing ceremony of the MOU.
Furthermore, the head of the Red Cross of North Macedonia welcomed the MOU, SAYING: “We are eager to use the experiences of the Iranian Red Crescent in the field of climate change and road traffic disasters in roads and increase the cooperation.”
Iran's Red Crescent has signed several MOUs with the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies around the world to cooperate in areas such as relief, training, disaster prevention, etc.
