As part of this operation, during the past week, the Red Crescent deployed relief helicopters to the forest and rangeland areas of Karmozd in Savadkuh County and Elit in Chalous County, both in Mazandaran Province. The helicopters assisted in firefighting by dropping water over the affected forest areas. 

The Red Crescent helicopters conducted a total of 53 flight hours to help extinguish the forest fire in Elit. 

In addition, Red Crescent relief workers were present on-site during the fires were contained to carry out follow-up mop-up operations and provide support to firefighters. 

Moreover, following two wildfire incidents in the forested areas of Kordkuy County in Golestan Province, the Red Crescent deployed specialized teams and provided comprehensive humanitarian and logistical support during firefighting operations.
