Mr. Kolivand also proposed bilateral cooperation in areas such as rescue vehicles, relief equipment, pharmaceutical manufacturing, blood plasma fractionation, and the production of artificial organs and smart prosthetics.
"The strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has always been rooted in peace, cooperation, and equality; in this regard, the Iranian Red Crescent can act as a secure and trusted conduit for the development of Iran-Japan relations," Kolivand stated.
For his part, Japanese Ambassador to Iran praised the capabilities of the Iranian Red Crescent. He highlighted that the arrival of Iranian rescue teams at incident scenes within less than four minutes, the deployment of motorcycle and mounted aid workers, and the utilization of smart systems are among the notable strengths of the Iranian Red Crescent.
Reflecting on Iran’s assistance to Japan following the 2011 earthquake, Mr. Tsukada stated that the Japanese people remain grateful for the solidarity and sympathy with the Iranian nation following the war.
