On the sideline of MENA Humanitarian Leadership Conference, the IRCS President Pir Hossein Kolivand met with heads and secretaries general of National Societies of Saudi Arabia, Algeria and Qatar, talking about humanitarian affairs, bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the region, exchange of experiences and technical knowledge about disasters and using experiences to help the affected people at local, national, regional and global levels.

Furthermore, in a meeting with Fabrizio Carboni, ICRC Near and Middle East Regional Director, Mr Kolivand emphasized the necessity of providing assistance to Ukrainian refugees.
