Babak Mahmoudi, Head of the IRCS Relief and Rescue Organization, said the Red Crescent is fully prepared with people in Nowruz.

He added that the Red Crescent’s helicopters will support the relief operations.

Every year, the relief organizations in Iran, including the Red Crescent hold a campaign to serve the travelers and passengers in Nowruz.

The Iranian Red Crescent to serve the people through “Nowruz Relief and Rescue National Campaign for the safety and Health of the Nowruz Travellers” and “Nowruz Relief and Rescue National Campaign”.

The Iranian new calendar year begins since 21 March 2023. The IRCS campaigns will begin some few days before the new year.
