The quake occurred at 06:46 a.m. local time at a depth of 8 kilometres, without causing casualties, but it injured 110 people due to panic and fear after the quake struck.
Following the earthquake, the Iranian Red Crescent Society dispatched its relief and assessment teams to the earthquake-affected areas in 32 villages and 6 cities.
Six houses in the villages and two houses in the urban areas were damaged as a result of the earthquake.
110 people injured by fear and escaping the scene, 17 of whom were taken to the medical centers.
Furthermore, IRCS aid workers delivered relief parcels to the households affected by the earthquake, according to Pir Hossein Kolivand, President of the Iranian Red Crescent Society.
