Following the incident, the Iranian Red Crescent's ambulance-equipped medical teams arrived on scene.
Hakim and Imam Ali (AS) Hospitals in Najaf received 30 pilgrims who had respiratory problems. A man suffered a fracture as well.
Currently, all the affected people have been discharged from the hospital, and only two pilgrims are hospitalized with burns and fractures, according to Hossein Fazli, deputy of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center of the Iranian Red Crescent Society.
In the city of Najaf, the Imam Ali (AS) Hospital, which is affiliated with the Iranian Red Crescent Society, serves the people and pilgrims.
