The Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) offered relief services to 189 people and provided shelter for 39 others in the two past days. Aid workers have also moved 29 people to safe places.

A total of 6 counties and 12 villages have benefited from Red Crescent services.

Two women were killed by the flood in Mashahd Taraqi, Shirvan County, North Khorasan.

Floods caused damage to farmlands and wiped out three cars in Raz and Jargalan County.

The relief operation in Khoy was hampered by the closure of the connecting routes due to the flooding.

The Red Crescent’s aid workers pumped out water of 27 houses.

The Red Crescent distributed tents, blankets, ground sheets, plastic nylons, canned food, loaves, food parcels, and mineral waters to the affected households.
