Regional Solidarity: 2,180 Tons of Humanitarian Relief Reaches Iran
TEHRAN, 22 May 2026 (IRCS) - Humanitarian aid consignments from Iraq, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan, consisting of medical equipment, food supplies, and essential medicines, have arrived in Iran.
These shipments have been delivered to the Iranian Red Crescent Society to address the needs of vulnerable populations.
Iraq, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan have sent 180, 300, and 1,700 tons of aid, respectively, according to International Affairs Division of the Iranian Red Crescent Society.
