IRCS President Honors IRCS Aid Workers and Volunteers in New Year and Eid al-Fitr Message
TEHRAN, 20 March 2026 (IRCS) – The president of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) extended his congratulations to volunteers, aid workers, and staff on the occasion of the Persian New Year, emphasizing the role of IRCS relief forces in providing humanitarian services during the recent U.S.-Israel airstrikes on the country.
In his message, Pir Hossein Kolivand described the role of aid workers during the conflict as “an illustrious display of self‑sacrifice, humanitarianism, and commitment to the lofty ideals of the Islamic Revolution.”
“Your unity, solidarity, and spirit of selfless dedication are a valuable asset for getting through these critical circumstances,” he noted.
“Your tireless presence in difficult and high‑risk situations, your selfless service to those affected, and your steadfast support for the people stand as clear testimony to your great spirit and sense of responsibility,” Mr. Kolivand added.
The president of the IRCS also extended his congratulations on the occasion of Eid al‑Fitr, the Muslim celebration that comes after the holy month of Ramadan and a month of fasting, saying: “May Almighty God grant you health, honor, and further success.”
