Airstrike on Tehran–Qom Highway Toll Station Damages Red Crescent Relief Post, Injures Three Aid Workers + Video
TEHRAN, 13 March 2026 (IRCS) - An airstrike on the Tehran–Qom highway toll station damaged an Iranian Red Crescent relief post and wounded three aid workers.
The attack occurred late Thursday night, 12 March.
Following the incident, the three injured aid workers were transported to a medical center.
Meysam Afshar, the Secretary General of the Iranian Red Crescent, has arrived at the scene of the incident.
Prior to this attack, 16 branches and 21 relief vehicles of the Iranian Red Crescent Society had been targeted in U.S.–Israeli airstrikes. In addition, seven IRCS personnel were wounded and one was martyred.
