UPDATED/ IRCS provides relief services in Minab following airstrike on a school
BANDAR ABBAS, 28 February 2026 (IRCS) - The Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) is deploying 200 teams to provide relief services following airstrikes on a school in Minab, Hormozgan province.
More than 171 students lost their lives and 95 others wounded after the attack.
Some students are trapped under the rubble, and aid workers are searching to pull them out.
In response to the country’s emergency situation, Iranian Red Crescent rapid response teams, logistics, relief efforts, medical treatment, and pharmacies are on alert, continuing to serve the public.
