5,000th baby born at IRCS medical center in Ghana
ACCRA, 16 August 2026 (IRCS) - 5,000th Ghanaian baby born at Iranian Red Crescent Society health center.
According to Hamid Reza Dehghan, the IRCS Under-Secretary General for Health, Treatment, and Rehabilitation, the facility has provided over 195,000 health services to the local population over the past year.
The IRCS health center in Ghana operates as a specialized polyclinic, offering comprehensive care including obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, cardiology, orthopedics, internal medicine, and ENT services. The facility is also equipped with a pharmacy, a laboratory, and surgical units for minor procedures and emergency care.
