The statement described this attack as a blatant violation of international law and a threat to the treatment of patients in need of vital medical services. 

The Iranian Red Crescent Society and the National Committee for Humanitarian Law of the Islamic Republic of Iran, while emphasizing the necessity of unconditional respect for the rules of international law, called on the competent international bodies, including the United Nations Security Council, to examine this matter urgently, impartially, and responsibly, and to create the conditions necessary for holding those responsible to account.
