Red Crescent Evacuates 60 After Flooding Blocks Baladeh-Zangouleh Bridge in Noor
SARI, 10 August 2026 (IRCS) – The Red Crescent evacuated 60 individuals from high-risk areas after flooding blocked the Baladeh-Zangouleh Bridge in Noor County, Mazandaran province.
Two teams from Noor and Chalous counties, along with a team from the Kandovan relief post, were deployed to the scene on the evening of Saturday, August 8, 2026.
The 60 people stranded by floodwaters were successfully transported to safety by Red Crescent aid workers.
