IRCS started the campaign on 25 February and finished on 2 April. The people with high fever were restricted and referred to hospitals for medical check-up. The Iranian Red Crescent carried out the campaign in close coordination with the Iranian Ministry of Health and the National Disaster Management Organization. 851 make-shift posts of the Red Crescent across the country screened the people and passengers. 21,640,861 people of 7,718,084 cars were screened out of whom 14,302 were referred to clinical centers for further examination. 12,703 personnel and 57,515 volunteers of the Iranian Red Crescent actively took part in the campaign.
