IRCS President’s letter of appointment reads as follows: "Considering the undeniable importance of using the great international potential and various missions and extensive and diverse tasks of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, I expect you, while continuously coordinating with me and benefiting from the guidance of experts, with continuous seriousness and effort, to exert your best efforts and experiences in line with introduction of the Society and improving its standing at the international level and forge positive interactions with the Federation, National Societies and Institutions, promote and implement concepts and regulations of humanitarian law at the national level and within the framework of the current laws of the country, and develop specialized activities in the international area based on the principle of dignity."
