A shipment weighing 40 tons has been dispatched to Libya in order to assist people affected by the floods, according to the president of the Iranian Red Crescent. The consignment comprises of various humanitarian supplies such as tents, blankets, ground sheets, hygiene items and food parcels. Additionally, three relief teams have also been sent to Libya alongside the shipment.
