In a meeting held today at the IRCS Peace Building, Razieh Alishavandi, Under Secretary-General for International Affairs and International Humanitarian Law at the IRCS, and Vincent Cassard, Head of the ICRC delegation in Iran, reviewed bilateral cooperation in 2025 and planned collaboration for 2026.
Alishavandi stated that the IRCS priorities for the coming year include continuing support for vulnerable groups and securing funding for rehabilitation services for families with disabled members, particularly in deprived regions and provinces hosting migrants.
She also expressed appreciation for the comprehensive support provided by the ICRC delegation in relief, rehabilitation and humanitarian law areas throughout 2025.
Mr. Cassard, in turn, commended the IRCS participation in the recent Restoring Family Links (RFL) course held in Oman.
He further praised the close cooperation between the Iranian Red Crescent and the ICRC delegation in Iran, emphasizing the development of joint programs across various fields in the coming year.
