On the occasion of International Volunteer Day, several IRCS volunteers were honored at a ceremony attended by First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref. These volunteers have made significant contributions to the Red Crescent in supporting people in need. “Humanitarian diplomacy within the Iranian Red Crescent has achieved valuable results through the participation of donors and volunteers,” said Pir Hossein Kolivand, President of the IRCS, during his speech at the ceremony. “It is a matter of pride to collaborate with the International Committee of the Red Cross. The role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the ICRC’s policymaking is prominent, and we will undoubtedly continue this path with your ongoing support.” More than 3.5 million volunteers are members of the Iranian Red Crescent and actively participate in its humanitarian campaigns and efforts.
