Russian medical aid delivered to Iranian Red Crescent
TEHRAN, 29 March 2026 (IRSC) – The Iranian Red Crescent Society has ‎received a 313‑ton consignment of medicine donated by Russia, a ‎valuable display of empathy and humanitarian cooperation between the ‎two nations, according to the president of the IRCS.‎
“This noteworthy consignment was provided and transferred to the country thanks to the effective role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the continuous follow‑up and proper management of Dr. Jalali, the Ambassador of Iran to Russia. The consignment has been handed over to the Iranian Red Crescent and will be used to meet the needs of the people,” said Pir Hossein Kolivand, President of the IRCS. Stating that the consignment represents a valuable display of empathy and humanitarian cooperation between nations, he added: “This camaraderie will help expand humanitarian cooperation in the future.” Appreciating the support of the Russian Federation, Mr. Kolivand said: “We appreciate this valuable support and express optimism that such benevolent measures will bring health, hope, and peace to the people.”
