President of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, Prof. Ali Asghar Peyvandi, thanked for services of Sahar Groups of the youth organization of the Iranian Red Crescent Society providing in earthquake affected areas in Kermanshah. Red Crescent President met with the members of youth and university student clubs in Red Crescent building of peace in Tehran, and said: “The activity of these groups was so good and interesting that has positive results on other groups. I thank every one of you who has participated at this program,” Sahar Groups as Persian abbreviation of “organizing of psychological support of survivors in disasters” have been formed in youth organization of the Iranian Red Crescent Society in 2014. President of the Iranian Red Crescent Society also emphasized that youth organization's clubs of the IRCS should be a place for humanitarian activities of youth. "Clubs of IRCS are able to gather students under one umbrella and mobilize capacities of youth for humanitarian and charitable purposes.” Prof. Peyvandi mentioned. President of the Iranian Red Crescent Society pointed out that youth organization of IRCS can be a connecting link between the Iranian Vice Presidency for Science and Technology Affairs and innovative youth members. He also stated: “At the first step, we need to pave the way for further attracting the active and capable youth, and then we will be able to link them to the relevant departments of the Iranian government.” In this meeting, the selected representatives of the youth members and university student clubs made their comments and suggestions. President of the Iranian Red Crescent Society also ordered for organizing regular and continuous meetings with a specific agenda and purpose to have gathering with youth members of IRCS.   Youth organization is one of the IRCS organizations that enjoys about 2 million members classified in youth, university students, clergymen, rural and tribal, school students and Ghonchehaye-Helal (Crescent buds) clubs.
